
Next week, Ukraine will launch a campaign to raise funds for a fleet of maritime drones through the online platform United24, which was launched in May to raise funds in support of Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday, The Kyiv Independent quoted.
- “This is only to protect our maritime space. We do not claim what is not ours,” Zelensky said in his speech on Saturday evening.
Ukraine is also working closely with its partners to get more tanks, armored vehicles, artillery and anti-aircraft defense, the Ukrainian president noted.
- “We expect good news regarding Ukraine’s air defense in the coming weeks,” he said.
United24, a state-run online platform, was launched in May to raise funds in support of Ukraine, and Zelenskyi said on Saturday that $214 million in donations had been raised.
