Released from prison after five years, a 26-year-old man convicted in 2017 of rape, beating and domestic violence returned to the home of his victim, a woman from Fagarash, who is now 62 years old. The man was detained and taken to the court, which decided to release him under judicial supervision.

After being released from prison, the man returned to the victim’s house in Predyal. The woman saw him from the window and, frightened, called 112.

According to the press release sent on Friday by the Brasov District Police, on Wednesday evening, around 10:30 p.m., the police in Predial at number 112 were informed by a woman that there was a man in the yard of her house and she was afraid that he would not enter the house.

A police patrol was dispatched to the specified address and found a man who had fled in a nearby forest lane.

The police of the city of Predyal opened criminal proceedings for domestic violence against the suspect, he was detained for 24 hours and taken to the center of detention and preventive arrest of the Brasov district police.
