Belonging to the small to medium luxury car segment, the DS4 1.6 PureTech 180 ps is focused on uniqueness, providing plenty of customization options that enhance its premium character. It has big wheels, a sporty silhouette, multiple facets, special daytime running lights and large spaces (length 4.40m, width 1.87m, height 1.47m) to give space to passengers. Narrow LED Vision headlights that follow the direction of the steering wheel, combined with two vertical units, including 150 LED elements, provide the driver with excellent visibility at night. At the rear, the sculpted lights fit perfectly with its elegant silhouette, further highlighting its unique and striking design.

Inside, the upgraded technology is present in the driver’s seat thanks to a unique design. The DS4 delivers exceptional cleanliness, such as dashboard screens, E-TOGGLE controls, stylized power window controls and invisible DS AIR center vents. The DS extended head-up display, which has proven to be particularly useful and functional in practice, signals an immersive visual experience associated with augmented reality. On the positive side, we note the presence of a small touch screen (DS smart Touch), with which you can access 6 of your favorite shortcuts (destination, contacts, sound system, climate control, etc.) with simple movements without driver intervention . Under the hood we had a 1600cc petrol turbo engine producing 180bhp. and 250 Nm of torque. The interaction of the engine with the 9-speed automatic transmission was excellent and drove the model easily and satisfactorily without losing performance potential. The linearity and elasticity of the engine provided comfort and luxury throughout the entire trip. We had four driving modes at our disposal (eco, comfort, normal and sport).

After driving over 800 kilometers, we achieved an average consumption of 7.8 l/100 km. On the highway and on the country road, the average consumption was 6.5 l / 100 km. In sport mode and when driving fast, consumption easily jumped to double digits. The bends in corners are present, but small and do not affect its generally good handling. Shows itself well on the open road, on trips. Excellent sound insulation does not let all the noise into the cabin. There is enough storage space in the cabin, and the trunk volume is 430 liters and there is a repair kit. Basic version of the Bastille Line with 130 hp. costs from 28,500 euros, and the Performance Line version with 180 hp. — from 34,000 euros. In 2024, the DS will receive a purely electric version.
