On the agenda of the General Council of the Municipality of Bucharest (CGMB) is a draft decision by which this body asks the government to transfer the land to the local administration and declare it an asset of local public interest.

The general councilors of the capital are expected to vote at a meeting on Monday on a draft decision by which the CGMB asks the government to decide on the transfer of a plot of land with an area of ​​11,382 square meters, located on Doina Kornea Boulevard (former Vasyl Milea Boulevard) no. 5G, sector 6, from the public domain of the state to the public domain of the Municipality of Bucharest for the purpose of creating a park.

This land is currently under the control of the Romanian Intelligence Service. In 2015, the surface was transferred from the public property of the Municipality of Bucharest to the state, so that the clinical hospital named after Prof. Dr. Agrippa Ionescu.

The proposal to create a park on this land was formulated by the administration of Sector 6, as a result of numerous requests received from residents of the Grozăvesti district, who do not have recreation and recreation areas in the neighborhood.
