Three men were injured in an attack on peaceful demonstrators near the Iranian embassy in Berlin on Sunday. The aggressors, with their faces covered, managed to escape, German police said, according to AFP.
The invaders removed the flags and banners that were hanging from a van parked near the embassy. Then they tried to open the door of the wagon. A conflict broke out in the trailer between the aggressors and the demonstrators.
Three demonstrators were injured. Two of them were hospitalized.
The aggressors fled in a car.
The trailer featured banners with messages such as: “Woman, Life, Freedom!”, chants of demonstrations in Iran at the time.
Iran has been the scene of a wave of protests since September 16, when Mahsa Amini died three days after her arrest on charges of violating the Islamic republic’s strict dress code. The repression resulted in at least 160 deaths.
