On Digi 24 on Sunday, Dan Barna was asked whether the USR would be in power or in opposition after 2024.

“I am very optimistic that this will be the guiding decision for 2024. At the moment we see PSD, PNL sinking every day and none of their leaders dare to come out into society. A government whose ministers no longer have the courage to speak to the people is a government on the hill of history,” said Barna.

When asked who the USR will be in government with after 2024, Dan Barna replied: “This is also the reality in the current PNL, by the way, there are many voices that are increasingly clamoring that do not feel represented at all in the current strategy of the PNL leadership and, probably in this area we will build a reliable management alternative. There are many people in the PNL who see pro-European governance as a natural solution for Romania.”
