Craiova University beat Sepsi Sfanta Gheorghe away after a match full of mistakes by the hosts, who also hit the crossbar twice in the dying minutes of the Super League round of 16 match.

After a balanced first half, Universitat Craiova opened the scoring thanks to Bohdan Vateel’s superb shot onto the crossbar in the 58th minute.

Mario Rondon gave the hosts a festival of misses, and in the 89th and 90th minutes the ball hit the crossbar of the goal, which was defended by Arlauskis.

The team, coached by Mirel Redoi, has three consecutive victories and is fourth in the Superliga standings, while Sepsi is in eighth place after four consecutive defeats.
