
The Ministry of Health reports that 352 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 have been registered in the last day, which is 87 less than the previous day.
According to information sent by the ministry on Saturday, the seven cases registered in the last 24 hours are re-infected patients who tested positive more than 90 days after the first illness, Agerpres writes.
The most new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection in Bucharest – 120, Timişi – 19, Sibiu – 18.
The highest incidence is in Bucharest – 0.86 and Cluj – 0.65.
Over the last day, 1,913 RT-PCR tests were conducted (1,276 – according to the diagnosis and medical protocol and 637 – according to the request) and 6,619 rapid antigen tests.
To date, 13,574,065 RT-PCR tests and 11,875,112 rapid antigen tests have been processed at the national level.
In total, 3,286,185 cases of infection with the new coronavirus have been registered in Romania since the beginning of the pandemic.
In contrast to new confirmed cases, 41 people were reconfirmed positive after retesting patients who had already tested positive.
