He received a deadline to apologize on Saturday (29/10). 38-year-old woman who allegedly doused her 36-year-old husband with caustic acid last Saturday at a hotel in Heraklion.

Earlier on Wednesday morning, a 38-year-old woman crossed the threshold of the prosecutor’s office, where she demanded and received a deadline for an apology.

According to flashnews.gr, the 38-year-old woman reported to the authorities late Tuesday evening (10.25) accompanied by her lawyers. The police then proceeded to arrest her.

Recall that a warrant for her arrest was issued from noon on Monday, while the public prosecutor of Heraklion brought her to criminal responsibility for premeditated murder in a calm state.

In statements to Flashnews.gr, one of the 38-year-old’s two lawyers, Manolis Draconakis, said “we had a smooth transition to the police station. Everything is legal and as it should be. From there we expect to receive the deadline today. We had a connection with the alleged perpetrator. He is still in shock. What happened is not easy.”

At the same time, Mr. Draconakis said that “Today we went to the prosecutor and the investigator, we received a term based on the law, and we will apologize on Saturday. My director is still in shock. She is a simple woman who seems to be very tough when she isn’t. She is a sensitive woman. The problem is often not what we do to others, but what drives us, how we do it, and with what result. However, he did not intend to kill or harm. He had many opportunities for this. There was violence and that motivated her to do it. Parallel scenarios are claims that there were accomplices who helped her. There is evidence that will prove that the 38-year-old woman was abused, and she will present them. However, my client is afraid.”
