Medvedev, a staunch ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, was reacting to recent reports by Western defense analysts suggesting that Russia lacks the missiles and armored vehicles it needs to continue its invasion of Ukraine.

“Reading the analyzes of the enemies, I repeatedly came across statements according to which Russia’s military equipment and weapons will soon run out. It’s as if everything is already over,” said Medvedev.

“Don’t get your hopes up! The production of weapons and special equipment is increasing, from tanks and guns to high-precision missiles and drones. Wait!”, he added.

Medvedev added that on Monday, on the instructions of Putin, a control inspection of tank production took place at the Uralvagonzavod corporation in Nizhny Tagil, which is the largest Russian manufacturer of armored vehicles.

“Aspects related to the acceleration of the delivery of equipment to the troops for use in the course of a special military operation were discussed,” Medvedev also stated.
