
Although the newly released Khaki Aviation Pioneer mechanical chronograph has a beautiful vintage look. It is inspired by the chronographs created by Hamilton for pilots of the Royal Air Force in 1970. Many details are reminiscent of this historic watch, but the most obvious feature is the asymmetric case that protects the crown and two starters. /pause and restart the chronograph. It is made of stainless steel with a pleasant satin texture, has a diameter of 40 mm and a thickness of 14.3 mm and is waterproof to a depth of 100 meters.
The brushed black dial is protected by a box-shaped retro sapphire crystal, has two counters placed symmetrically horizontally, and the hands are white lacquered filled with old Super-LumiNova radium, highlighting the vintage character of the watch.
The H-51-Si self-winding movement is based on the ETA-7753 architecture, operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and guarantees 60 hours of battery life. Thanks to the silicon balance spring, it is very resistant to magnetic fields.
The chronograph with a brown leather strap costs 2095 euros.
