​Petrolul Ploiești managed to stop the series of negative results: after four consecutive defeats, the team from Prahov beat FC Argeș 2:0 in the 15th stage of the Super League.

The goals were scored by Grozav (’13) and Budescu (’85, penalty).

In the 56th minute, Alceus (Arjesh FC) was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.
