Petrolul – FC Argesh, an all-or-nothing match for two coaches

Nikolay Konstantin and Andrey Prepelita face the most important match of the current season, both need a win to secure the support of the management.

Petrolul are coming off the back of a nightmare 5-game losing streak in the league and Prahoven will need the support of the crowd to get out of this crisis that seems to have no end in sight.

“Argesh” from “Prepelita” has not won a single away match since August 19, after the match against “Mioveni” (1:0, scored by Garita).

They did not do too well even in the first group match of the Romanian Cup.

Petrol categorically lost at home to Sepsi OSK (1-3), and FC Argesh had a laugh in Baia Mare, where they were very close to defeat, in a match with Minaur (Mihai Yosif’s first match on the shores of Maramures). The match ended 0-0.

Depending on tonight’s result, we could witness yet another relegation in the Romanian Super League.

Know:

  • “Petrolul” and “Arjesh” are neighbors in the standings: the hosts are 10th, and the guests are 11th (both have 17 points, they are separated by goal difference).

The game is scheduled for 18:15 and is broadcast live on Digi Sport 1, Orange Sport and Prima Sport 2. Sebastian Colcescu will be in the center.
