The Georgian Legion, part of the Ukrainian army, published a video shot from a drone about the attack of an infantry platoon supported by a tank on Russian positions.
The footage shows a T-64BV tank approaching the Russian position, and an infantry platoon disembarking from it: “12 hungry wolves,” the footage says. (The symbol of the legion is the head of a wolf with the flag of Georgia, a red note.)
Then the soldiers of the Georgian Legion begin the offensive, supported by a tank that fires a 123 mm cannon and a 7.62 mm machine gun.
At one point, the footage shows several Russians fleeing from a trench being conquered by Georgian soldiers.
“The legion marches on, but we are hungry! 16 “quilters” of Wagner died. We will take revenge like thunder! It’s better to run away while you still can,” reads a post to the frame on Twitter of the “Georgian Legion”.

“A good example at the tactical level that shows why tanks are still important in supporting an infantry attack against fortified defensive positions.” – commented Rob Leeconnoisseur of war
The exact size of the legion, which consists mainly of ethnic Georgians, is unknown, but is believed to number between 500 and 1,000 soldiers.
The Georgian Legion, led by Mamuka Mamulashvili, is known for the brutality of its fighters and was at the forefront of the main fronts in Ukraine.
Among the members of the Legion is allegedly a former minister of defense from Tbilisi. It should be noted that the Legion was founded after Moscow’s aggression against Ukraine in 2014, when many Georgians came to fight against the Russians, who also invaded their country in 2008.
