Cristiano Ronaldo is excluded from Manchester United and fined

The Old Trafford club issued a statement on Thursday evening announcing the Portuguese player’s exclusion from the squad following an incident at the end of the game against Tottenham.

It will be recalled that Ronaldo came on as a substitute in the match won by “United” against “Tottenham” (2:0) and refused to enter the field in the last minutes of the game.

The Lusitanian went straight to the dressing room, and after the game Erik ten Heg said that he would analyze the situation the next day and make a decision.

As well as being left out of the squad for Saturday’s match against Chelsea, Cristiano Ronaldo has also been fined around £1.13m.

Cristiano Ronaldo, messages in social networks

A few hours after Manchester United’s official announcement, CR7 also posted a message on social media regarding the current situation at Man United.

“As I have always done throughout my career, I try to live and play with respect for my teammates, opponents and coaches. It hasn’t changed, I haven’t changed.

I am the same person and the same professional that I have been for the last 20 years playing football at the highest level and respect has always played a very important role in my decision-making process.

I started very young, and the examples of older and more experienced players were always very important to me. Therefore, later on, I myself tried to set an example for the youth who grew up in all the teams for which I played.

Unfortunately, this is not always possible, and sometimes the adrenaline of the moment overwhelms us,” he wrote. Cristiano Ronaldo.

Although that is no longer an option for Erik ten Hag, the Portuguese is training professionally and looks ready for a new challenge this winter.
