Two defendants in the case of rape and pandering of a 12-year-old girl in the city of Column.
According to information, neither of the two defendants accepted the charge of rape of a minor. However, both reportedly testified that they had a sexual relationship with the child.
In particular, 53-year-old Ilias Mikhos only admitted that he had had sexual contact with a minor, thereby confessing to the charge of ill-treatment of a minor.
At the same time, he respected the statutory right to remain silent regarding other serious charges attributed to him, such as rape, human trafficking and pimping.
Yannis Sofianidis, 42, allegedly admitted to a bailiff that he repeatedly “had sex” with a child for pay. However, he claimed that he was giving the fee to the little girl and not to his co-defendant.
Ilias Mikhos and Yannis Sofianidis are now in the prosecutor’s office.
