
A video shared on social networks shows what remained of a Ukrainian village in the Donetsk region after the withdrawal of the Russian armed forces from it.
The video captures the scene of devastation, showing how all the houses and buildings passed by traffic in the village of Bogorodchany were completely destroyed by the fighting that took place there.

The administrators of the “WhereisRussiaToday” page, which shared the video, initially wrote that the footage was shot in the Kherson region, but later corrected the information. (Twitter does not have a post editing function).

Military analyst and independent researcher Chris Owen, who shared the video, also showed how the village looked before the war began, noting that such a fate befell hundreds of cities in Ukraine.

The “protection” of Russians in the Donetsk region, as well as in neighboring Luhansk, was the first pretext used by Russian President Vladimir Putin to launch an invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
