At the age of 43, Pacquiao will face South Korea’s DK Yoo on December 10 in an exhibition match in Seoul. Funds received from the organization of the event will be used to help homeless people in the Philippines and Ukrainian families affected by the war.
“I will try to prove that Pacquiao is still present in boxing. This is my return to the ring, boxing is my passion and I will have to work hard, even if it will be an exhibition match” – Manny Pacquiao.
Pacquiao’s opponent, DK Yoo, is a martial arts expert with 655,000 YouTube subscribers.
“It’s an honor to face him,” said DK Yoo, who thinks he’s the winner: “I’m taller and younger.”
Manny Pacquiao ended his sports career in August 2021 after losing to Cuban Yordenis Ugas. He left the ring with a record of 72 wins, eight losses and two draws, writes News.ro.
However, he returns to the ring and does not rule out a rematch with Floyd Mayweather, who defeated him in 2015.
