A 21-year-old girl filed a complaint of sexual assault by two police officers at the Omonia Police Department.

According to the information, in her complaint she mentions that she met the police officers while on patrol yesterday Wednesday in Tesesio and arranged to meet with one of them after their shift. However, upon returning to A.T. Omonia, a 19-year-old girl, reappeared and was a victim of rape at A.T.

Police sources confirm that one of the four officers knew her and that they had recently met and their relationship did not flourish. They associate the complaint with a specific development. In addition, senior officers express concern about whether rape can take place in A.T. at 22.00 at night, and no one noticed anything.

However, the DIAS police themselves, through third parties, claim that the woman approached them in Thissio and told them about her personal problems. One of the four, unbeknownst to the others, arranged to meet her after the service, which he did. He took her away in his car from her home in Paticia and, according to him, they had sex with her consent.

The complaint has been forwarded to the Internal Affairs Service, which is tasked with shedding light on the case.
