George Clooney and Julia Roberts appeared on Access Hollywood shortly before the release of Ticket to Heaven and revealed why they never met.

According to Clooney, “Julia was always in a relationship, or I was. We immediately became friends. So nothing, it was just fun for us. I don’t think such a thought has ever arisen.”

According to People, during the show, host Kit Hoover bombarded them with quick questions, especially about the friendships they’ve maintained over the years.

Clooney said that when they first met, Julia “made me laugh”, and the actress noted that her favorite actor was “gentle”. The stars were then asked what they most admire about each other. Clooney praised his co-star’s kindness, while Roberts said she respected his fortitude.

In their latest film, they play a divorced couple who make a “truce” to stop their daughter from marrying a seaweed farmer she met while on a Bali vacation right after college.
