Mayor Clotilda Armand’s statement that she wants to provide anti-crisis aid of 1,000 lei to the residents of Sector 1 to help them survive this winter has sparked numerous comments on social media. The mayor is back with us, saying that he accuses the PNL and PSD, who have a majority in the local council of Sector 1, of blocking investment projects needed to improve the lives of citizens who need this help.
“I have seen the reaction after my announcement today that we want to help citizens in the current crisis by providing them with financial support from the money saved from the sewer company. Many of you asked me why we do not allocate 200 million lei for investments. The answer is simple: because the PNL and PSD have the majority in the local council of sector 1 and have already blocked our project more than ten times, through which we want to install solar panels and heat pumps on all the blocks and public institutions in the sector.”, writes Clotilde on on your Facebook page.
Armand says that the project worth 400 million lei was blocked due to politicking so that “the mayor could make image capital” and big investment projects have been waiting months for the PNL and PSD councilors to vote and they are sabotaging any natural development or progress.
