Although the criticism has not yet been directed at the political leadership, the trend of “public expression of disagreement with the Russian establishment” will be “probably difficult to reverse”, according to the updated bulletin of the British Ministry of Defense on the situation on the front in Ukraine, based on information from its special services. DPA and Agerpres agencies on Saturday.

Top critics include pro-Kremlin Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov and private military company Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin, as well as “state-sanctioned TV presenters, pop stars and an increasingly vocal community of ultra-nationalist war bloggers”.

However, in the case of Kadyrov and Prigozhin, who are considered the leading figures of the “pro-war bloc”, their criticism “is based on arguments in favor of greater state commitment and a desire for escalation.”
