According to British intelligence, a growing number of Russian “politicians” are stepping up their criticism of the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense due to military failures that have continued on the battlefields of Ukraine in recent weeks.
Although the criticism has not yet been directed at the political leadership, the trend of “public expression of disagreement with the Russian establishment” will be “probably difficult to reverse”, according to the updated bulletin of the British Ministry of Defense on the situation on the front in Ukraine, based on information from its special services. However, in the case of Kadyrov and Prigozhin, who are considered the leading figures of the “pro-war bloc”, their criticism “is based on arguments in favor of greater state commitment and a desire for escalation.”
