Mayor of Craiova Lia Olgutsa Vasilescu was re-elected on Saturday as the president of PSD Craiova during the organization’s election conference.

Olguța Vasilescu was elected by the present delegated members by unanimous votes, being the only proposed candidate for this position, reports Agerpres.

After being re-elected as the president of PSD Craiova, Olguța Vasilescu presented the new Board of the organization, which was unanimously voted for: first vice-president – deputy of the local council Lucian Dindirica, director of the county library “Alexandru si Aristia Aman”, vice-presidents: Radu Marinescu, Dan Spanu, Dorel Bercanu , Sorin Manda, Catalin Receanu, Sorin Dinescu, Alin Shuiu and Executive Secretary – Vice Mayor of Craiova Rela Filip.

Olgutsa Vasilescu asked to leave the post of vice president vacant for a person who will join the PSD in the next period. “I would ask you to give me this seat as a blank check because we are in very advanced discussions with important personalities of Kraiova and I would like to have this seat that I can offer at the press conference where this transfer will be made in our party,” she said.
