
Cisterns caught fire on the Kerch Bridge in Crimea early Saturday morning, reports the Russian state news agency RIA, and Ukrainian mass media reports about the explosion.
“According to preliminary information, a fuel tank caught fire on one of the sections of the bridge in Crimea,” RIA reports with reference to a local official.
Traffic on the bridge was suspended.
Ukrainian mass media reported that an explosion occurred on the bridge around 6:00 in the morning.
In the images that appeared on social networks, you can see a train on fire, as well as a collapsed sector on the road section next to the railway part of the bridge.
