
The life and career of Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer is chronicled in the BBC documentary Hans Zimmer: Hollywood Rebel.
The hour-long film follows the composer’s 40-year career from post-war Germany to Hollywood.
The German composer has written scores for major movie hits such as The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Dune and many more.
The documentary will also highlight the composer’s collaborations with the BBC on Planet Earth II, Blue Planet II and Frozen Planet II.
Hans Zimmer: Hollywood Rebel will include interviews with directors Ron Howard, Christopher Nolan, Steve McQueen, Denis Villeneuve, Stephen Frears and more.
