
The theft of a safe from a local organization in Heraklia solved Serron, last year in May, with a “booty” of more than 60,000 euros. The 38-year-old citizen has been identified as one of the perpetrators of the case, while investigations by the Serres Subdirectorate of Security continue to identify his accomplices, as well as his possible involvement in other criminal activities.
According to the police report, the attackers broke into the organization’s premises, deactivated its alarm system, and took out a safe from a desk drawer, which contained 61,258 euros, as well as another 700 euros.
The stolen safe was found cracked over the next 24 hours in the countryside.
