The scenes took place on Monday in the AJOFM area of ​​Constanţa, and images published by replicaonline showed a woman running towards the boulevard holding a child wrapped in a white sheet, whose head and face were also covered. The man runs after her, and she calls 112 and asks for help.

Another woman called about the event on 119, the child’s phone number. The man who called 112 managed to prevent the woman from carrying out her plan.

Constance County Police said that a criminal case has been opened against the woman for the abuse of a minor, which was reported to the Office of Child Protection.

IPJ Constanța spokeswoman Andrea Iliescu told stirileprotv that the woman did not want to cooperate with the authorities, had agitated and unruly behavior, so she was taken to the hospital and admitted to a psychiatric ward. The 7-year-old girl remained under the care of her maternal grandfather.
