It is noted that for the first time the government officially mentioned the possibility of canceling the suspension of work of unvaccinated medical workers earlier than before the end of the year, which is also the schedule established by the current institutional framework. Recall that in September 2021, about 6,500 people were suspended from work. unvaccinated National Health Service workersof which, according to the Minister of Health, half returned because they had been vaccinated.

According to the Ministry of Health, at the moment, 2,200 unvaccinated medical workers remain outside the system, of which only 170 are medical personnel, and the rest are paramedical and other paramedical and administrative personnel. In addition, about 1,000 unvaccinated people work for the National Health Service on sick leave.

Meanwhile, the day after tomorrow on Thursday, a trial is expected in State Council for the second time, the Panhellenic Federation of Trade Unions of Public Hospital Workers appealed to lift the suspension of work for unvaccinated medical workers.
