A police officer of the Service for the Protection of Officials and Vulnerable Objects died at noon on Thursday (September 29) as a result of a collision between the motorcycle he was riding and a car.
car accident happened a few minutes after 11:00 on Thursday morning at the entrance to Attika Road from Markopoulo to Elefsina.
According to information, the 32-year-old policeman, who served as a security guard for a well-known lawyer, was riding a bicycle. When the driver of the car in front braked to avoid the dog, the unfortunate policeman fell on the back of the car, fatally injured.
The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the traffic police.
