
Prime Minister Nicolae Chuke announced on Thursday evening that he had accepted the resignation of Sorin Kimpeanu as Minister of Education.
“Today I accepted the resignation of Mr. Sorin Kimpeanu from the post of Minister of Education. I thank him for his cooperation and for the initiated projects for the benefit of the education system,” Prime Minister Chuke wrote in a message on Facebook.
He says that “in the future, Romania needs stability and coherence to be able to implement the sustainable education reform that we all want” and that consultations should take place “within the National Liberal Party and within the government coalition and confirm, quickly, the proposal that I I will submit to the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis for the post of minister”.
