Girls suffer significantly more from lack of motivation, fatigue, fluctuations in emotional states and anxiety

In order to support their desires and goals in life, trends in the way they study differ depending on the age of the respondents. 37% of 16-18-year-olds prefer to learn more in the formal system (at school, in private lessons and in public libraries), while half of 22-24-year-olds rate both the formal and the informal system equally. On average, young people would spend about 3 hours a day studying, the leaders of the age groups were 19-21 years old with 2.93 hours a day. 99% of Gen Z youth use YouTube, averaging more than 2 hours per day
Youtube is the most mentioned platform, with a daily average of 2.3 hours, followed by Instagram (2.3 hours), Facebook/Messenger and TikTok (1.6 hours).

Banking apps are gaining popularity, with BT Pay and Revolut leading the way
The most popular methods of bank transfer among young people are direct transfer through the bank application to customers of the same bank (49%), followed by Revolut (40%) and transfer via IBAN (36%). The 22-24 age group is the one that transacts the most, and 36% of 16-18 year olds don’t usually transfer money, suggesting that such needs arise as they come of age.
Among the banking apps that young people use to manage their finances, Revolut ranks first among the best banking platforms, with 40% of young people using it. The two aforementioned competitors, Revolut and BT Pay, remain the clear leaders in the top, followed by George Romania, Google Pay and Raiffeisen Mobile. By age group, 25% of 16-18-year-olds do not use banking apps, 46% of 19-21-year-olds use Revolut, and among the 22-24 age group, BT platforms have the highest share at 36%.
Specialists of the national programs “I want to be an entrepreneur” (VSFA) and “Insights” – part of the organization Romanian Business Leaders (RBL) in cooperation with the marketing research agency IZI data – collected and analyzed the answers of more than 1,200 young people from Romania to develop the Insights PulseZ survey. The aim is to capture the online or consumer attitudes and behavior of young people, as well as their needs, personal motivations and preferences. Generation Z is considered to be all young people born from 1995 to 2010.
