On Monday, Health Minister Alexander Rafila was asked whether hospital emergency departments have run out of money, given that more and more heads of medical departments are complaining about it.

“Emergency reception departments are financed by the Ministry of Health, the distribution of funds was carried out by the Department of Emergency Situations. I haven’t received any notifications about any problems. We can’t fund something we don’t know about. We have the money, but DSU handles the distribution. How do we know that there is no more money in the reception points?” said Rafila, answering the questions of journalists.

The health minister, who has a longstanding dispute with the head of the Department of Emergency Situations, Raed Arafat, on the subject of the emergency medical care system, also took a shot at Raed Arafat: “Ask here, go a little beyond the Ministry of Health on the right, and there he is a gentleman is answering you,” Rafila told reporters.
