The harvest could be 19 million tons of wheat, 30 million tons of corn, and 5.5 million tons of barley.

Analysts warn that grain exports in the 2022/2023 season may fall to 22.6 – 38.8 million tons due to a reduction in acreage and logistical difficulties.

In addition, sunflower production in Ukraine in the 2022/2023 season may amount to 3.5-4.9 million tons compared to 5 million tons in the 2021/2022 season, APC-Inform analysts calculated.

Sunflower oil exports in the 2022/2023 season are expected to be 3-4.6 million tonnes in 2022/23, depending on the harvest and logistical issues.

Before the war, Ukraine was the world’s largest producer and exporter of sunflower oil.
