The second season ended with Emily (Collins) confessing her love for Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) only to see him return to his ex (and Emily’s friend) Camilla (Camilla Razat). Emily’s future is uncertain, what will she ultimately decide? Since Laviscade has officially joined the cast, we know that Alfie is not going to disappear from the life of the main character.
The series premiered in October 2020 and topped the platform’s charts. The fourth season has already been greenlit. The creators told Entertainment Weekly that the series is left to explore “how Emily feels about the people she left behind and how the longtime expat is changing in terms of his relationship with his homeland.
