
The target of the vandals was the old building of the 2nd Primary School in Lagadas. Thessaloniki.
As it was established on Sunday morning, unidentified persons broke down both the courtyard door and the central door of the school building, and then caused damage inside the premises.
The principal of the elementary school contacted the mayor of Lagada, Ioannis Tahmatzidis, who in turn reported the incident to the police department, asking them to find those responsible for the vandalism.
At the same time, he instructed public utilities to make the necessary repairs to the school premises.
“School buildings are public property and no one can cause destruction without reason and reason. Sooner or later, the perpetrators will be found and they will be asked to compensate the cost of the damage caused,” Mr. Tahmatzidis told APE-MPE.
