On Wednesday, the CCR judges ruled that the salary increase in the state system, which was supposed to apply to dignitaries, presidents of district councils, mayors, parliamentarians, was unconstitutional. On this occasion, the UDR sent two reports to the Constitutional Court.

In two questions, the UDR noted that the draft laws adopted by the parliament do not comply with the principle of bicameralism and violate the parliamentary procedures for adopting laws. EDR also noted that the initiators did not indicate where the funds would come from, that is, the source of funding to cover the budget costs that will arise as a result of the application of new measures.

In June, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law that provides for an increase in cash allowances for all high-ranking persons along with the salaries of state employees.

USR noted that the changes to the law will increase the allowances of all high-ranking officials, from the super-prefects to the president, by between 880 and 1,410 lei, given that their salaries were frozen by the salary law.
