Over the weekend, a hacker published a video of the upcoming game Grand Theft Auto VI, one of the most anticipated games on the market. Take-Two Interactive Software has confirmed that it was the victim of an attack, but says that it has not affected the development of the game. The last game in the GTV series was released in 2013, and GTA 6 will not be released until the end of 2024.

The hacker posted images from the game with characters, cities and various elements on online forums. This image appears to be from an older stage of development, possibly from around 2017, especially after Rockstar Games started working on GTA 6 in 2014. Many images have been removed because they violate copyright rules.

It’s one of the biggest gaming “leaks” in recent years, and some say it’s a PR disaster for the developer. However, the company says that this will not affect the development of the game, which still has a lot of work to do.

BofA Global Research projected sales of $3.5 billion immediately after launch and $2 billion annually in subsequent years.

The hacker who posted the images is the same one who allegedly hacked Uber’s systems recently.
