The Armed Forces of Ukraine on Saturday destroyed 5 enemy drones and a Russian Ka-52 “Alligator” helicopter, reports “Ukrainian Pravda” with reference to the press service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“On September 17, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force destroyed five UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) of the operational-tactical level and a Ka-52 helicopter in different places,” the report says.

Fighters of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out about ten airstrikes against the occupying forces.

The Ka-52 “Alligator” helicopter was allegedly shot down in the Donetsk region, in Velika Novosilka.

The General Staff of Ukraine claims that since February 24, Russia has lost 54,480 military personnel in Ukraine.

Thus, Moscow would also lose 2,210 tanks, 4,718 armored fighting vehicles, 3,578 vehicles and fuel tanks, 1,309 artillery systems, 312 salvo missile systems, 168 air defense systems, 251 aircraft, 217 helicopters, 918 drones, and 15 boats.

Alligator attack helicopters are considered to be one of the most modern in Russia, before the start of the war in Ukraine on February 24, there were only 70 such aircraft.

But the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to shoot down several Ka-52 helicopters, including with non-traditional weapons, in particular the Stugna-P ATGM and Mantlet light missiles obtained from Great Britain.
