July 14 public organization Human Rights360 is informed about the presence of migrants on the island of Evros and sends the relevant information by e-mail to its headquarters Greek Policeto Frontex, to the United Nations High Commission and the Prosecutor’s Office of Orestiada. In this particular email, NGO representatives include information on the number of immigrants and their geographic location. In the subsequent period, they sent further e-mails asking them to be informed about the fate of the immigrants, but received no response. Finally, verbally, followed by a press release from EL.AS. they were informed that, despite searches and with the use of technical means, no people were found trapped in the trap.

On August 19, Giorgos Katrugalos tweeted the first page of names from the ECtHR decision on the July provisional measures with 38 of the 50 names of the first group found on the island.
