“The situation on the front line is tense, but under control,” he told Russian state news agency TASS on Sunday.

In many areas, according to him, the forces of the DNR are advancing, albeit with difficulty.

“The situation on the Donetsk route has not changed, the airport is still under the control of DPR forces,” Pushylin also said. He qualified as false some information disseminated by the Ukrainian side that troops from Kyiv had captured the airport.

According to Pushlin, DNR forces destroyed the Ukrainian command post in Dobrovol and some military equipment near Vugleghirsk.

“Near Uglehorsk, enemy NATO equipment was destroyed, including a Polish-made 155 mm AHS Krab howitzer,” he said.

Pusilin also claimed that Ukrainian military commanders are sending untrained personnel into battle, as a result of which Ukrainian forces are suffering heavy losses.
