
Britain’s new King Charles described his mother’s death as a moment he was “terrified” during an audience with British Prime Minister Liz Truss on Friday.
TV cameras managed to capture the moment of discussion between Prime Minister Liz Truss and King Charles during their meeting on Friday at Buckingham Palace, reports The Guardian.
“The moment I was scared, and I know a lot of people were scared,” Charles was heard saying by Liz Truss.
The king also said: “It was so touching today when I arrived (at Buckingham Palace, no), all those people who came to express their condolences… to bring flowers.”
“The moment I was afraid of. Try to continue.”
On Friday, King Charles met Prime Minister Liz Truss for the first time.
