At the beginning of this year, I developed a set of recommendations, which I sent to the Ministry of Education, it was distributed to school inspectorates, directors of educational institutions. There are a few simple things that everyone has on hand.

These measures are universal, they also prevent the coronavirus, they also prevent the flu, because it is possible that we will have a more serious flu season this year, after a gap of two or three years, and we will not change in any way the approach that was able to keep the schools open,” said Rafila.

The Minister of Health emphasized that during the fifth and sixth waves of the pandemic, schools remained open, because the approach was not related to the number of cases, but to the capabilities of the medical system to receive the infected.

“We developed outpatient services in parallel. Now we have experience, it is good to continue this model of best practice, which has confirmed its experience, kept schools open, economy open and social life,” commented Minister Alexandru Rafila.
