However, it seems that the changes brought about by Elizabeth’s death do not stop there. Immediately before exiting Netflix 5th season of the popular series “Crown” which sheds light on secret palaces, it seems Filming of the 6th cycle of the series will be temporarily stopped.
According to Variety sources, production on the series is likely to be put on hold for some time in deference to Queen Elizabeth’s death.
Peter Morgan and the creator of The Crown seem to confirm the above, telling Deadline: “The crown is a love letter to the queen, and I have nothing to add yet. Only silence and respect. I expect that we will also stop filming as a sign of respect.”
netflix, however, he has not made any official statement to that effect.
