“From August 2022, the Recolamp Association will be present and very active in all segments of waste electrical and electronic equipment. With this successful expansion of our operations, we set two big goals. Market leader

Recolamp Association, known for its 15 years of activity in the field of waste electrical and electronic equipment, specializes in the recycling of waste lighting equipment in Romania, with national campaigns dedicated to empowering the population for a greener future, and is the oldest player in the WEEE market. from Romania.

The Recolamp Association managed to end 2021 with a positive balance, despite the health crisis and the increase in the collection target from 45% to 65%. This brings last year’s figure to more than 4,800 tonnes of electrical and electronic equipment collected, processed and recycled by Recolamp.

In 2022, the “Recolamp” Association continues to call on household consumers and companies to take a responsible attitude towards the environment, because the fulfillment of collection goals depends primarily on them. Recolamp will continue its mission to empower the population to recycle hazardous waste through campaigns, empowerment activities and infrastructure development, but achieving the 65% collection target is challenging. Solidarity and mobilization of the population at the national level are important conditions that can positively affect the achievement of goals.
