Meteorologists on Saturday issued new yellow and orange warning codes for heavy rain and storms in the south and southeast of the country, including the coast, where there will be strong winds.
A yellow code warning is in effect on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Dobruja, eastern Muntenia and southern Moldova.
During this period of time, there will be showers, which will also have a downpour character, the volume of water will locally exceed 25…40 l/m2. Rains will be accompanied by electrical discharges. The wind will also temporarily increase locally, generally on the coast at a speed of 55…60 km/h.
A code orange warning is in effect from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the coastal area of Konstanz and Tulcea counties. Torrential rains will pass, and, especially due to accumulation, the amount of water will be recorded at 40…60 l/m2.
