These are five foreign men and one foreign woman aged 24 to 45, including two leaders of the organization aged 45 and 41, against whom, as well as their 45-year-old accomplice, whose details have already been established, criminal proceedings have been initiated. a business. filed, as the case may be, for crimes of a criminal organization, violation of the Addictive Substances Act, and violation of the Weapons Act.

In more detail, as part of the aforementioned police operation, searches were carried out in open areas, in particular, in the forest area of ​​the Attica prefecture, where hemp seedlings were grown, in a temporary building found at the scene, and in houses used by members of the group, during which discovered and confiscated:

  • 2101 hemp saplings from 50 cm to 1.10 m high, uprooted,
  • Submachine gun with magazine, ready to use,
  • 2 pistols, one with a cartridge in the chamber,
  • Cartridges of various calibers,
  • pistol silencer,
  • a pair of handcuffs
  • Precision electronic scales,
  • Mini notebook-notebook (tablet),
  • 9 mobile phones used to communicate with each other,
  • Portable intercom system and two wireless transceivers,
  • night Camera,
  • signal jamming device,
  • Lots of agricultural tools, empty pots, soil bags, fertilizers and accessories used to grow seedlings,
  • A sum of 2,700 euros related to drug trafficking,
  • Keys to the car they were using, which was reported to have been stolen in February 2022, noting that they placed fake license plates on it and
  • 4 IKE vehicles that they used both to transport drug shipments and to facilitate their movement.

As a result of further investigation, it turned out that the decision of the Athenian Prosecutor’s Office of Appeal was at the expense of the arrested woman, by which she was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 1 year and 6 months for forgery.

Those arrested will be taken to the competent prosecutor’s office.
