Long before music singles reach our ears as digital releases on Spotify or as videos on YouTube, they were originally released on the so-called 45s, i.e. on small vinyl discs, along with one more track and later, as CD single.
The last, “forgotten” single format was chosen Kate Bush reissue it “Get on top”, part of her, that is, the one that from the moment she was heard in the fourth season “Stranger Things” not so long ago, since then it has not ceased to sound everywhere, but also to beat one record after another, after its unprecedented success.
“Running Up That Hill” is the lead single from Bush’s album. “Hounds of Love” which was released in 1985 and in its only version it was released on vinyl with the track on side b “Under the ivy”.
It’s been 37 years since his first release “Running Up That Hill”. so it circulates on the CD single and in fact, this is the first time the song has been released in this format. It will include side b of the original release.
So those of you with a CD player, hurry up.
