The first working section of the A1 Sibiu-Pitesti motorway, section 1 from Sibiu to Boite, is at a fairly advanced physical stage and the chances of opening to traffic at the end of 2022 are very good. The most impressive work in the project is almost complete, with segments recently cast on the Tălmăcel Viaduct.
