According to a statement from the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food, the donkey was finally euthanized following a decision by a specialized veterinary team that examined the animal.
The unfortunate animal showed symptoms of hypothermia, and since it had multiple injuries in different parts of the body, it was impossible to transport it to a private veterinary clinic for treatment.
Euthanasia was chosen as a solution to relieve pain, given the irreversible course of his health.
