Decreasing trends in his average weekly viral load SARS-CoV-2 in municipal wastewater in seven of the eleven districts tested by the National Epidemiological Network. Wastewater (EDEL) from EODI, were observed for the week from 22 to 28 August compared to the week from 15 to 21 August. A growth trend was observed in one of the eleven DES regions and stabilization in three DES regions.
Downward trends were found in Patra (-97%), Larissa (-65%), Ioannina (-54%), Xanthi (-50%), Alexandroupoli (-48%), Volos (-45%) and Heraklion. (-43%). The trend in the average weekly viral load of municipal wastewater in Agios Nikolaos (+15%) was slightly increasing. The viral load of municipal wastewater remained almost stable in Thessaloniki (-10%), Attica (-7%) and Chania (-2%).
